About
Currently I am charging an initial consultation fee of $225, which will be credited towards the total fee if retained. Attorney Tarek Kiem has over 20 years of legal bankruptcy experience and is also a bankruptcy trustee. Attorney Kiem was a bankruptcy law clerk for Bankruptcy Judge Raymond Ray and then spent most of the years after that representing bankruptcy trustees and litigating various issues before the bankruptcy courts on behalf of the trustees, debtors, and creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 cases.
Attorney Kiem also has a Masters in Business Administration ("MBA") and has been a Florida Certified Public Accountant ("CPA") since 1999. The firm specializes in helping individuals, trustees, corporations and businesses with all their bankruptcy needs.
Our prices reflect Attorney Kiem being with you every step of a typical bankruptcy from initial consultation, to preparation of your bankruptcy documents, to attending your meeting of creditors and other standard hearings. We DO NOT let you attend by yourself the meeting of creditors at the bankruptcy court. We DO NOT bait you with low prices and then when you come in for a consult jack you up with various add on fees or after filing fees that are claimed to be "needed" for a standard bankruptcy case. Now, if for some reason your case is one of the approximately 5% of bankruptcy cases in my experience that ends up being contested and heavily litigated, then the quoted prices herein will not apply and we will tell you that up front. We tell it straight. We keep it straight. Whether its good for our business or not.

I had an outstanding experience working with Attorney Tarek Kiem on my bankruptcy case. From our first consultation through the final resolution, he managed everything seamlessly and with the utmost professionalism. He was thorough, responsive, and made a difficult process feel far less stressful. Tarek took the time to explain each step, answered all my questions, and ensured that nothing was overlooked. I’m incredibly grateful for his expertise and highly recommend him to anyone needing a reliable and knowledgeable bankruptcyattorney.

Mr. Kiem was instrumental in explaining the bankruptcy process for an individual broker that we named in a FINRA arbitration claim. He was professional and explained that it would be difficult to collect even if we were to file an objection as opposed to giving us false hope just to sign a retainer.
I highly recommend him for your bankruptcy needs. Thank you Mr Kiem for your time and expert knowledge.

Looking forward to this new adventure. I did a lot of consultations, and I felt it the minute I was face to face with my new attorney. Can’t wait to get started working on my case.

My fiancé and I met with Mr.Kiem April 2023. He was fantastic! He did not withhold information like the initial consultation we had with another attorney. He was transparent, direct, honest and did not overpromise and yet, he was still thoughtful. He also knew when we were feeling overwhelmed and gave us space to process all the information. He's not pushy urgent lawyer. I would not even consider going elsewhere if I were you! Hope this helps you make the right decision. - Good luck.

He understood my situation and did everything he could to make it comfortable and affordable. It's going to be a pleasure working with you on this unfortunate journey.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Currently I am charging an initial consultation fee of $225, which will be credited towards the total fee if retained.
Usually, pricing for filing bankruptcy depends on the complexity of the case. Pricing can be as low as $1,500 for attorney fees plus the filing fee due to the bankruptcy court.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do an initial consultation by telephone or Zoom. Usually, during the foregoing consultation we will able to advise whether filing bankruptcy is a viable option and the bankruptcy chapter that is most suited. We have flexible appointments in the evenings and on weekends.
