Personal Chef Services: As an added aesthetic detail food is served in dinnerware provided by The Whole Grain Chef. ***Service For 1 Person*** $90.00 for 1 Person includes: 1 - 16 Ounce Freshly made juice Entree - 1 whole grain dish, protein & hot Vegetable dish with a Soup, Salad and Dessert. Additionally, a nice lunch for the day after. ***Service For 2 People*** $170.00 for 2 People includes 2 - 16 Ounce Freshly made juices 2 - Entrees - 1 whole grain dish, protein & hot Vegetable dish Plus a Soup, Salad and Dessert ***Service For 3 People*** $230.00 for 3 People includes 3- 16 Ounce Freshly made juices 3 - Entrees - 1 whole grain dish, protein & hot Vegetable dish Plus a Soup, Salad and Dessert ***Service For 4 People*** $320.00 for 3 People includes 4 - 16 Ounce Freshly made juices 4 - Entrees - 1 whole grain dish, protein & hot Vegetable Plus a Soup, Salad and Dessert 5 or more people require a kitchen and serving assistant each at the rate of $15.00 per hour. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new customers we first discuss your food preferences, food goals and frequency. I work with people who are conscious about their health and eating or would like to become more knowledgeable about both. Be it Caribbean, Italian, French, Korean, Indian, South American or Middle Eastern influence, the food should combine in a way that creates an environment for superb digestion. If we are paying attention, the first thing we notice when food digests properly is an immediate sense of well-being. This is the feeling of satisfaction vs lethargy after eating. When food is properly combined, digestion, absorption and assimilation of nutrients to our cells become possible in an optimal way. Feeding the good bacteria in out gut keeps our immune system healthy and our energy levels elevated. When Preparing a menu these are some of the things I keep in mind. Eating a variety of properly combined foods can help to accomplish clarity of mind and heart. Sound nutrition connects the mind and body. Most people eat at least 3 times daily. When we start making conscious decisions about our meals there is a tendency to have more awareness about the choices we make for our lives. Most of my customers understand this and want to be supported in their desire to live a life of wellness. I do my part to assist them by creating menus and offering a service that is an answer to this.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training is based on years of experience supporting customers with different diets such as Blood Type, Pritikin diet, Vegans & Vegetarians. I have also had the privilege of seeing whole grains go from being a mystery food to becoming more popular as a food choice both in commercially in restaurants and as a household food item. Since doing extensive research in 2008 for my book, 'The Whole Grain Factor', I have gained years of practical working knowledge on how effective this style of eating is for our bodies. Being introduced to yoga 14 years ago I still utilize it as one of my personal tools of well-being. Aligning myself with healthy, informed eating habits, meditation and yoga is the inspiration I bring to my Personal Chef Services. My goal is to reflect and share wellness with you through the menus that I prepare for you and my communication with you as a customer.
