Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn, and I am a certified notary public in the State of Florida. I also have experience in preparing quit claim deeds and legal descriptions, and reviewing some legal documents. In years past, I have searched for a convenient and affordable option for notary services that would come to me, and I didn't have much luck. I became a notary in 2024 through my day job so, after becoming a notary, I decided that I could be that person I was searching for! So, in 2025, I began offering my services to the public as The Traveling Notary. Also, I have 7+ years of experience reviewing and preparing quit claim deeds for simple sales or interest transfers. I am looking forward to meeting you and assisting with all of your documentary needs.

Kaitlyn is truly awesome! I had always gone to the bank to get things notarized, but was in a bind one weekend when I needed something notarized for one of my children. The banks were closed, as were stores that offered notary services, so I thought I was going to be out of luck. A friend of mine gave me Kaitlyn’s information and not only could she notarize my paperwork that weekend, she came to me! Absolutely saved the day and now I call her any time I need something notarized. Not only is it convenient to have her come to me, she is always on time, answers any questions and is less expensive than other services. I highly recommend Kaitlyn to anyone looking for the convenience of a prompt and professional mobile notary.

I’ve worked with Kaitlyn multiple times and she is seriously the best. She’s incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and makes what I was afraid would be a stressful or confusing process feel easy and straightforward.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I charge a base rate of $20 per acknowledgement and an additional amount is included for travel outside of Lakeland, depending on the distance driven. This is based off of general area, not mileage. $20 per acknowledgement within the City of Lakeland (where I am located) Variable travel rate additional, as follows: $5: West Polk County $10: East Polk County $15: Hillsborough County $20: Anywhere else (within service boundary) I am open to being flexible on the total amount due on a case-by-case basis, just ask and I will see what I can do!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a certified Notary Public and I have experience preparing quit claim deeds.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    Anything legal, I can only give my personal advice.
