My name is Cindy and I am a state-certified teacher. I have experienced teaching 5th grade, 3rd grade, kindergarten, and 6th grade math. I earned my bachelor's degree in Child & Youth Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2021 and my master's degree in Elementary Education with Special Education from Grand Canyon University in 2025.
I have experience as a classroom teacher and have had success working with students, especially in math. I have been well liked by the students I taught and parents I have interacted with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My current price is $35 an hour. I am a classroom teacher but I enjoy tutoring so I will offer tutoring during the summer and during the school year.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When meeting a new student I would like to have a brief video call or phone call to get to know them and their tutoring needs. I also like to talk to the parent/guardian to understand where the student is struggling and agree on tutoring dates/times. They can also ask anything about me, my process, my credentials, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my B.S. degree in Child & Youth Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2021 and recently earned my M.Ed. in Elementary Education with Special Education from Grand Canyon University in 2025. I have my professional teaching license from the Florida Department of Education and am state-certified to teach kindergarten to sixth grade. I now tutor part time with a company but also like to expand my expertise to other students.
