DS crew are incredible people and cleaners. I have been in an out the hospital and have not been able to keep up with the cleaning in my home and organizing. These ladies did not judge. DS cleaning got back to me right away to set up an appointment. I would have loved a confirmation text/email as I ended up checking back in on Thumbtack to make sure they were still coming the evening before I had them scheduled. One girl arrived on time with a few cleaning supplies that looked subpar. I use top notch cleaning products so I offered if she needed any but she said no. I scheduled for a deep clean so late thank you I love you. This had me confused right away, there were supposed to be two workers, but one of them had an emergency come up and I was told that they might still show up. They never did and the deep cleaning ended up taking from 930 till almost 6 at night which really inconvenienced my family honestly, I was still charged full price and the cleaning wasn’t as thorough as I hoped. The floors were left really sticky, my nightstands were dusty, and none of the trash in the bathroom was removed. I still found so much hair on the floor. (I have pets!) My shower still had stains. I understand this is probably because they only had one person working, but I feel like I got a shorthanded. Also, the girl arrived with a huge truck with a lift kit on it. I live in a tight neighborhood so I asked her to park in the driveway because it was trash day. She ended up breaking one of my sprinklers in the front yard which costs a couple hundred dollars to replace.

One of our cleaners reported an illness at the last minute, so only one tech arrived—this is on us, and it likely impacted the quality and timing. The items you mentioned (sticky floors, dust, hair, trash, shower stains) are not our standard. We’re also tightening our confirmations and backup staffing so this doesn’t happen again.
