My family needed some professional help. We, "not being familiar with this arena of life", called quite a few attorneys and started explaining our situation. I tell you, we were not impressed as we felt the only thing we were getting was an extremely expensive attorney and their primary concern seemed to be just that, when can you pay. However, it was refreshing to talk to Brian as money was not the first primary concern, but rather, we felt a heartfelt concern about our situation and a genuine desire from him to help. He explained everything to us as far as potential expectations both positive and negative and assured us that with his experience, he would work his ass off to argue on our behalf to bring forth reasonable solutions that would not only satisfy the law requirements while at the same time, not throw the family under the bus. Through the whole process, Brian was on top of it and something else; I never texted or called him without getting an immediate response to the text or phone. I was totally impressed with that! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally do a flat fee and like to avoid hourly billing whenever possible as the client feels nickel and dimed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients frequently call in and request to meet in person at my office located in Longwood, Fl. However, some clients simply want to get the process started and want to sign the contract over the phone/computer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a Prosecutor in Orange County, Florida before I became a Criminal Defense Attorney.
