I would highly recommend Jessica - we needed someone to come in to feed our cats while we were gone for a week. Jessica came to meet us beforehand and was so lovely and professional. We immediately felt comfortable having her in our home. She sent daily pictures when she visited and the cats didn't even hide from her! She brought in our mail and watered some of our plants. We plan on using her every time we travel and also to walk and take care of our dog. A+++

As soon as I made the approach to Thumbtack, Jessica called me to schedule a meet and greet at my home, with my two cats Percy and Coco, before we went on a five day trip.
I had explained that Coco has IBS and that her toilet habits could be challenging. She was not fazed by this and quickly learned how to use Coco's automatic feeder, and where to find the necessary supplies for cleanups if necessary. She immediately took on board the need to keep the two cats separated while feeding. Within a short space of time I felt the usual anxiety about leaving my babies behind disappear, as it was obvious Jessica was more than capable of meeting the different challenges.
During our trip, Jessica kept me updated with photos and videos with running commentary on a twice daily basis. Upon our return, our pets were quite happy, we weren't stressed and all that for a very reasonable cost. I hope Jessica continues to provide her excellent services for a long time to come, as it will allow us to travel without any of the anxiety and stress that usually accompanies leaving Percy and Coco at home.

I would definitely use her again! She was amazing with Mia and made me feel completely comfortable while I was away. Her communication was excellent — she sent plenty of pictures and videos, which I really appreciated. She also picked up and dropped off Mia, making everything super convenient. Most importantly, Mia looked so relaxed, happy, and well loved while she was with her. Highly recommend!

If anyone is looking for a pet sitter, I just have to share how amazing Jessica has been for us!
We met her last week for a meet-and-greet since she’ll be watching our pups in September, and we instantly felt comfortable with her. Then, out of the blue, we needed someone this past weekend—and she was able to step in for us.
She took such incredible care of our pups. She sent so many sweet pictures and videos, kept us updated the whole time, and honestly made it so much easier for us to relax while we were away. It means so much to know our pups are in such loving, trustworthy hands.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a 10% discount for law enforcement and military, active or retired. My walks start at 10.00 per 15 minute walk. However for 18.00 per walk your pet can have a 30 minute visit with food/water refreshed and some play or cuddle time. I try to keep the prices reasonable to gain loyalty, without sparing quality.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a meet and greet and I bring a form to take note of your pet’s needs. I want to know if your pet has any fears or aversions, and where I can find all their comforts throughout the home.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have worked odd shifts and I know what it’s like to worry about a pet waiting at home. I have taken care of pets for family and close friends so they can travel with no worries.
