I am a Central Florida professional musician with over 30 years of touring, recording, performing, and teaching experience. This includes 3 years as a staff musician and entertainer at Walt Disney World and 10 years on the Bluegrass fesitval circuit. I teach Scruggs style Bluegrass banjo from beginner to advanced. Lessons are individualized to the students goals and technical ability. If you want to learn for fun, or want to understand how to play backup, melody, improvise or solo or want to learn to play in a jam or with a band you will have more fun than you can imagine! Learn to quickly understand and apply music theory and technique that books and tapes can't show you. If you want to play and sound like the artists you hear on recordings, then you'll enjoy my approach. Don't worry if you live far away, I can teach you live, one-on-one easily over the Internet by webcam. I'm also a computer professional, so I can guide you on equipment and configuration too.
