- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Recently I began to withdraw from insurance panels for reasons related to client privacy and choice. For instance, should a client seek counseling for parenting, relationship, or grief issues, insurance will not pay for this type of service. I am forced to make someone have a clinical diagnosis which remains with them for life. My normal fee is 125.00 per hour, however, I do offer a sliding scale.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with each client prior to booking either by phone or email to ensure that we are a good fit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Nationally Board Certified Counselor and a Licensed Mental health Counselor in the State of Florida. I continue to update my skills and knowledge yearly through seminars, classes and online research.
