- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates vary based on the type of event and need of on-location services. For weddings I do per person because usually there is no need for on set touch ups etc. For photo shoot and video work I use my half day and day rate scale. That includes either a half day or full day of makeups and on location touch ups up to 8 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Make them feel comfortable and ask the right questions so they know what to expect! I require a signed contract for most jobs and it explains what to expect and the excellent service you will be receiving from Marin Makeup.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had more than 10 years of hands on training in the beauty industry. I have certificates from CARA Makeup Academy Bridal and Beauty Business Course, PCA Skin, Skin Medica and over 800 hours of training for Florida College of Natural Health.
