Matteo is incredible he comes off a little intimidating as a big Italian guy but he’s got a big heart. He does serious K9 training with working dogs, but he took on my mini golden doodle, Luna, and got amazing results. He taught her solid obedience and even trained her to avoid toads and snakes—huge peace of mind where we live. Super professional, calm, and effective. Highly recommend this !

Outstanding Dog Training Experience!
I couldn’t be happier with the results from Matteo! My dog went from being overly excited and hard to control to calm, responsive, and obedient. Matteo was patient, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He not only trained my dog but also taught me how to better understand her. Highly recommend to anyone looking to build a stronger bond with their pup and see real results!

I have to admit I went into this adventure a little skeptical but as soon as I spoke with Matteo on the phone, I got the feeling he was going to transform my beautiful 10 month young Dutchie into an obedient young lady. Matteo is very compassionate, dedicated, genuine and honest man and he treated Ruby as if she was his own. I received daily updates and could consult with him as many times as I wanted, he always answered back right away and even called several times just to keep me calm and reassure me that Ruby was doing great (I was having separation anxiety while Ruby was living her best life and learning her basic commands). Signing Ruby up for 3 weeks of basic commands and obedience training with Matteo at Dogs and Stripes K9 training was the best decision ever! To say Matteo and his training knowledge and methods exceeded my expectations doesn’t do it justice. Ruby is an extremely stubborn (and smart) Dutch Sheppard and to see her do all the basic commands on cue is a testament to Matteo’s devotion to his trade and his dogs. Yes, his dogs, because he automatically becomes Uncle Matt and part of the pack. Thank you Matteo for teaching Ruby and I the basics to keep her safe and happy. You are a blessing to all dogs that get lucky enough to have you train them. I will recommend you in a heart beat and Ruby will be back for boarding and play in a few months. THANK YOU ❤️

Matteo did a fantastic job working with my dogs to reduce their prey drive and improve obedience. He’s clearly experienced and knows exactly what he’s doing. What I really appreciated is that he takes the time to understand the psychology behind the dogs’ behavior and explains everything in a clear and relatable way. He not only trains the dogs but also teaches you how to handle specific situations confidently on your own. He’s always open to questions and genuinely wants you and your dogs to succeed.
