I don't normally give reviews because I don't really have the time but I am in between outdoor projects right now. I had my house recently painted but beforehand, I needed some stucco work/repairs done first. I found James on Thumbtack, with a few good reviews and decided to give him a try.
Here's what he fixed: There was an area in the back of my house on the wall that the stucco was buckling due to a hairline crack that let water in. He was able to tear out the old stucco, check for rotted wood, and then patch with new stucco. Two of my windows, each had a rusted corner bead and he tore them apart and patched with new stucco as well. All the hurricane tracks were already removed from all the windows and sliding glass doors so all he had to do was patch the holes. An area above one of the sliding glass doors, where a track was removed, it pulled some of the existing stucco off so he patched the whole area to look uniform. I had 19 soffit vents that he tore out the old ones, because they were brittle and had paint sprayed on them (20 years old), and installed some new ones. Lastly, he went around the house and caulked the majority of the hairline cracks.
I work from home remotely so it didn't matter what time he arrived or how long he worked each day. Everything was done within a couple days and I have no complaints and I would recommend him. The only thing I did was go around and smooth down the harsh patching areas so that it blended better with the existing texture of the house of which may have been painted twice within the last 20 years. That's it! I'm off to the next project now.

I posted a job to have our whole home exterior stuccoed on top of the wood frame/siding. Jim was prompt to respond and even stopped by on a Sunday to get measurements. We discussed the estimate Monday and Jim was able to start the job on Wednesday. Throughout the project Jim clearly communicated arrival and departure times each day. We are extremely happy with the final results and would highly recommend Jim for any of your stucco needs.
