FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have priced my classes to $49.00 an hour as that includes the class and preparation work. In addition, I offer free consultation in between classes to answer any questions the client may have. The student does not have to worry about paying a fee to get an answer to perhaps an urgent question for a test, or an explanation of a topic and wait until the next class.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I discuss with the client what are their expectations and then formulate a plan to get the student where he or she wants to be. Together we set up several guidelines which depend on what the student expects from learning French. There is a big difference between a student needing help for a test or a customer who wants to visit France in the future.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My family is French and I was raised in Paris. I studied at l'Universite de la Sorbonne in Paris and have a Baccalaureat in International Affairs. I taught French and English at the American Embassy in Paris for 7 years. I have been teaching French all my life and specifically on line for the past 12 years.
