Hello, my name is Karen Hieskell, I am the owner, trainer, and nutrition coach of My Fitness Answer, along with my husband Steve, also trainer and nutrition coach. We are passionate about nutrition, health, and fitness. We have a private fitness studio in Whitehouse, OH. We also offer Online Personalized Fitness Training and nutritional coaching by live Zoom Fitness and Nutritional Coaching. For our online clients we set up a program specifically designed for you with exercise videos with descriptions and workout logs, meal plans, nutritional coaching, shopping lists and recipes that can be tracked by My Fitness Pal! We educate you on proper nutrition for your body and work through habit building, with Zoom meetings, calls, and check-ins for accountability. In addition, we have fully customized fitness and nutrition plans. Steve is a nationally ranked Masters sprinter, runner-up in Mr. Ohio Bodybuilding Championships and an Air Force Veteran. My training is from Coopers Clinic, as a Certified Physical Fitness Specialist with 26 years of experience in fitness and nutritional coaching. In addition, we are both working on completing another Nutritional Coaching and PT certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) We have helped many individuals improve their quality of life from injuries, muscle weakness, core training, weight loss, and flexibility. Many athletes in different sports have trained with me to increase their speed, agility, flexibility, strength and power, and many have become State and National Champions in college and high school as well as some professional athletes. In addition I have experience in training people that are physically challenged such as brain disorders, Cerebral palsy, Muscular dystrophy, Fibromyalgia, and have also conditioned hundreds of clients to pass the police, fire department and military fitness tests for entry in those fields.
