About

I've done group classes and private sessions with puppies, adult and senior dogs. At this time, I focus on training puppies (8 weeks to around 6 months old) through private in-home lessons. I am there for those who have never owned a dog before and just got their first puppy or those who haven't raised a puppy in years. I help with every facet of having a puppy from the potty training to the nipping to visiting the vet and having guests come over to teaching a puppy how to correctly start walking on the leash, manners in the home and correctly developing relationships between puppies and children and resident dogs. Also, absolutely everything in between! I operate with compassion and science and get results. Providing support, reassurance and guidance to the puppy parent through the most challenging yet most important time of a dogs life: puppyhood.

So far we've only met with Cami once, but we are already impressed. She came to the home to meet us and to meet our puppy. She wrote up a schedule for our training based on what we told her was important to us as well as other things she recommended that we hadn't thought of. She gave us great ideas and tips that we've already put in place before our first official training session and our puppy is already responding and behaving better. She is also keeping in touch with us on a regular basis with tips and suggestions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My knowledge of the dog training field will continually be expanding. Being a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the CCPDT requires CEUs for recertification.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I adopted two puppies at the same time, made plenty of mistakes, fell in love with dog training and wanted to help others not go through it blind like I did. My dogs taught me a lot about myself and dogs can really make a difference in peoples lives. I want other people to enjoy their dogs also. I do that through science based, compassionate dog training to help people raise their puppy right.
