JC Construction did a great job, showed up on time and easy to discuss what needed to be done. We are an HOA and that is not always easy to work with and he was patient and understanding. I will be using him on my own property in the next week.

JCP Construction was very professional. My job was a small project. However the contractor put extra effort in getting the job done right. Having someone who makes an extra effort shows they care about the the customer . If anyone is looking for a contractor ,consider hiring JCP Construction LLC. They will come out and give you an estimate whether it be total renovation or smaller project.

I could have used all 5 adjectives to describe Mr. Peterson. JC is the most straightforward contractor I’ve ever dealt with. He wants to be fair to his customers and takes great pains to estimate properly to avoid surprises like most residential contractors. And he truly cares that he left our job with us happy, going extra lengths to get his people to do it right and timely. He is extremely knowledgeable about estimating, structure, code requirements, permitting, materials and scheduling with concise explanations of the costs and time from our drawings and where we might expect variations. His previous experience included a 4 year degree licensing (not just ABC123 contractor school) and he was a project manager building hospital structures. That might explain his ability to work with multiple people and professionals on our job and make it happen. His intention to leave quality long lasting work and us happy long term makes him our choice contractor for all work in the future.

JCP construction company did a small repair job for me. Called several other companies and all declined the job . They said it wouldn't be cost effective for us to do the job. Construction companies are competing for a piece of the market shareespecially in cities where there's a high influx of new residents like Florida.When a business limits the job to more money they limit the pool of more customers as well as referrals. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will put together a detailed estimate for the complete scope of work. I am happy to price different options or add/deduct alternates to help customers make value decisions to match their budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for most projects is to meet with the customer and understand what they would like to accomplish from their space, take measurements, take pictures, and make recommendations. If the customer has any photos of project ideas or material selections, this is very helpful. I will then put together an estimate and schedule for the project and review with the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida. After college i spent 8 years as a project manager for a large company performing healthcare projects from $20-200 million. I bring the technical knowledge, logistics planning, and attention to detail I learned building hospitals to all my projects, big or small.
