Thor Wood Floor Restoration is a South Florida family owned and operated Hardwood flooring Refinishing Company. Ted, the owner, has been in charge and personally working every project since 1999. Hardwood Flooring is his passion and most common subject of study. He has been NWFA certified and state certified in all aspects of hardwood flooring since then as well. And on occasion, one or both of his sons help on a project too. With 29 years of refinishing fine floors experience, we offer professional DUSTLESS hardwood floor sanding and refinishing. Ted recommended a deep clean and redcoat on the maple engineered floors. They were older and as such, he recommended a satin finish as to minimize the appearance of wear and imperfections. The floors turned out great and Ted was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to work with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do offer 10% discount for veterans and first responders
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a meeting in person or over the phone to see and discuss the project at length. after I see it and take measurements I can give you a written proposal on site. I can also do bids virtually.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my 29 years on this job I have been to many product seminars. Early on I attended and certified with National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) and I always study and learn all the incoming trends and techniques as this is my love.
