FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Your first step with Nirva is a complimentary 30-minute consultation, giving you an opportunity to meet your practitioner, ask questions, discuss what you would like to work on, and determine whether hypnotherapy feels like the right fit. Nirva is a private-pay clinic and does not bill insurance. Paid session rates vary by practitioner and are communicated clearly before you book, with no hidden fees or surprises. We believe you should understand both the process and the cost before deciding to move forward.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a complimentary 30-minute online consultation. This gives you an opportunity to share what you would like to change, ask questions about hypnotherapy, meet your practitioner, and decide whether working together feels like a good fit. If you decide to continue, you’ll complete our secure intake and participation forms and schedule your first online session through SimplePractice. Your practitioner will take time to understand your story, goals, and the patterns you would like to explore before tailoring the session to you. There is no one-size-fits-all process. Ongoing sessions build on your individual goals and progress, and you remain an active participant throughout the experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All practitioners affiliated with Nirva are certified hypnotherapists who have completed professional training through the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy (IIH) and are members of the International Association of Interpersonal Hypnotherapists (IAIH). One of Nirva’s practitioners, Ann Marie Morales-Ear, is an IAIH-certified Clinical and Transpersonal Hypnotherapist and a graduate of the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Art History from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Education from SUNY New Paltz. Before becoming a hypnotherapist, Ann Marie spent 18 years as an elementary art educator. Her professional training, educational background, creativity, and personal experience with hypnotherapy contribute to the warm, thoughtful, and highly individualized approach she brings to her work with Nirva clients.
