Wow, I cannot say enough about this company. Picture this, it's Saturday morning the beginning of Labor Day weekend, I called this company crying and in fear and scared. My neighbor has been stalking me peeping on me and harassing me and coming into my backyard. The day before, I had installed wireless cameras by myself on my house and it took me all day to do it. Within one hour of installing them my neighbor had already hacked into my wireless cameras. Police were no help. I called Mermaid Engineering & Handyman Services very upset and the first things out of his mouth were "I will be there today ! I will install your cameras & hardwire them so they can never be hacked because I don't want you crying and I don't want you scared" The owner of the company came out Paul Wilkerson and spent the entire day crawling up in a hot attic and setting cameras up and he worked up until 10:30 tonight. Remember, this was Labor Day weekend and he did this for me somebody he doesn't even know. How nice it is to know that there are still good people out there. Absolutely amazing! Thank you so very much Paul from the bottom of my heart.

I was fully prepared to have a new exterior sliding door installed. Paul succeeded in fixing the drainage problem I was having with it by clearing a passageway for the water accumulation problem. He saved me a good $1500 in less than an hour. Since the water was leaking into the house, Paul came the same day I called. I will be making another appointment with him next week to install a new storm door.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We currently charge $75.00 per hour for all handyman services! $25 for a trip charge within 5-25 miles and a $50 trip charge may apply to travel greater than 26-50 miles, from our Qualified technicians. . Please note there is a $25.00 fee for cancellations!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We communicate with our customers to get their name, address, phone number and email (for billing). We then create an electronic work order so the technician can call the customer to answer questions and schedule an appointment!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Colorado Technical University with an Associates Degree in Business Science with honors in 2013. I have over 35 years of marine, residential and commercial construction and mechanic experience. We also specialize in Drone videos and survey services.
