Introduction: My photography is creative and vibrant. We love our customers and strive to capture the moment that you will cherish for years to come. In the world of today, it is easy enough to take a snapshot of any thing, but creating a memory, the image of emotion, being able to capture a beautiful instant in time takes patience, practice and experience. Sure, anyone can take a picture, we create works of art. I simply love what I do. Photography has always been a passion of mine. I love the people I work with, and that shows in my work. Whether it's an artist on a stage in front of 25000 people or a couple pledging their hearts and lives to each other, a student graduating from high school or college, these are instants in time and cannot be replicated. Loving photography and people, having a eye for the perfect image, and most importantly the joy that my customers experience when they review their images...that's what I truly enjoy about my work.

Hired Rae to do my wedding and engagement photos. It was hard to get a hold of her. A week before we were set to do the engagement photos, and a few months before the wedding, she called me and told me that her partner is no longer with her so she can not do any of our pictures anymore. Since there was only a few months left until the wedding, as soon as we got off the phone I started looking for other photographers. Rae then called me back a couple hours later to tell me that she could in fact still shoot our engagement photos/ wedding. Obviously at this point we no longer wanted to work with her, and that is what I told her. She proceeded to try to convince me that I should still work with her, and said that even if she moves she'll fly from wherever shes living to shoot our wedding (obviously not very reassuring to a couple about to get married). Just to get off the phone with her I told her I would think about it, because she kept trying to talk me into working with her. My husband (fiancé at the time) then called her to tell her we would like our deposit refunded. She tried to convince him to work with her still, to which he said no and that he expected our refund by the end of the week. He told her that since she was paid in cash, he expects cash back and does not want a check (since checks can bounce). We gave her a bit more than a week, and still had not received our refund. When we called her she told us that she sent us a check, and was surprised that it hadn't gotten there yet. She was very insistent that she sent it, yet it had been about 10 days at this point and we live in the next county over, so it's not like it would take long to get here. Obviously we did not want her to "resend" it, so we ended up having to drive the 40 minutes to meet up with her to get our refund. We set up a time to meet, to which she was over 20 minutes late. She again gave us a check, even though we didn't want one, with some cash. We were just done dealing with her at that point, so we accepted the check and left. The first time I met her everything seemed to be great, so it was very disappointing that it didn't work out.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing and packages are based on industry standards, please keep in mind, I guarantee my work, I do all post production work, I don't just simply depress my shutter button an am done with the job!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, I'll have a phone conversation with new clients, and schedule an appointment to meet with them. We get to know each other and what kind of work they are looking for, if we agree and are on the same "frame", we schedule the shoot and sign releases, and an agreement for services. I also discuss payment, and depending on the job, a deposit is required to schedule a shoot, be it a wedding, an engagement party etc. And payment of the balance is expected on your scheduled date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience, I have a background in journalism as well as concert tour photography.
