FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I generally provide my clients with flat rate pricing based on an estimate of the hours necessary to complete the project. My hourly rate is between $250 - $350 depending on the type of legal work. My current trademark rates are $400 for an initial search and analysis of the viability of your mark; $750 for filing of the first mark, and less for each additional mark. This does not include the federal filing fee which is $250 - $425 per category.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Usually a client will come to me for a specific need, such as registering a trademark of their brand name. I like to also get an understanding of your big picture for your business so that I can make sure your request is the most proper and economical avenue to accomplish those long term goals. I tend to advise on a wide range of topics if necessary from estate planning to even marketing. If I cannot provide you with all of the services you need, I have a wide network of other professionals that I trust, who I can refer you to.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law where I focused on business, real estate and intellectual property law. I also have an undergraduate degree in the arts which bolstered my creative thinking skills. I now apply those skills to finding creative solutions to client matters.
