Our mission is to help dogs and dog owners live better together. We utilize balanced training methods to effectively teach owners how to communicate what they want from their dogs and teach dogs to understand what is wanted from their owners. For dogs, we focus on laying a foundation to be trained in obedience commands, behaving in different social settings, and if necessary, correct any pre-existing behavioral issues. For the owners, we provide a general understanding of behaviors of each breed and how to continue training on their own in the future. By keeping owners informed and involved, we ensure our results are not short-lived but instead long lasting.

Osama is very responsive and super friendly to work with! He came really prepared for the session and was very thorough in instruction and followed up with examples to help me learn the techniques he was teaching. I had a great time and am already getting good value out of what he taught! Will definitely schedule another session once I've made progress!

Within 24 hours after our first training with Osama, we experienced less nipping and biting and more acceptance of the crate by the dog and members of our household. A week has passed, and we are still reaping the benefits of Osama's experience in helping our Apollo live his best life with us! More crate time decreased our puppy's confusion about what to do when we are done playing, walking, feeding, etc., and added more peace throughout the household. More proactive boundaries help us teach behaviors that are never acceptable. The past seven days also included more mental stimulation which decreased many destructive habits and/or confusion about what we expected him to do/not do. We are a work in progress, and we anticipate more training with OneStopK9.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Take in as much information as possible about the current behavior and level of the dog and then explain to the owner the steps I will take in order to work through these issues. Basic obedience commands are a bit different since it’s almost always the same routine and structure.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got my own puppy and wanted to be able to set some ground rules to have a good relationship with my dog. I fell In love with training and decided to keep working with him and expanding my abilities
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many different breeds of small to large dogs from frenchies, pomskies, German Shepard’s, dobermans, Rottweilers, pitbulls, Australian Shepard’s, Belgian Malinois, etc.
