FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are a little higher then my competitors, but with good reason. You pay for the quality of service in which is provided. You will always hit off the grass NO MATT SESSIONS. We will always take mini breaks as well so as the coach I don’t want any bad habits created. Plus my lessons are always a little longer then the “STANDARD HOUR” Lessons. We like to do package series to make sure my clients get better not just a one & done deal. They start at 6 lessons and can be customized to fit anyone’s specific needs. ALL SERIES are ALL INCLUSIVE. This helps me take care of you the client much better then my competitors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical new client or student routine varies. I like to always go over the proper grip stance and set up. But after that I like to see physical limitations. Meaning I will put you through hell that first lesson. If I need to, I will break your swing down and rebuild it back up all in the same Session. What we try to do at Scott Matuza Golf is try to find something to relate to in your swing to Many of the analogies I will play off in my head and break it down for you in term that you understand and can deliver once I put the golf club back in your hands. That's why I say I am a tough swing coach. But I will almost guarantee improvement with our style of instruction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We’re more hands on FEEL coaching in my academy. You will hit tons of balls. 100+ each session with me sometimes many more depending on your time. Work as a coach and Product rep on the PGA Tour. We use video swing analysis but that’s mainly for spot checks the real breakdowns come at night when I am home. Then I will give you feedback. I won’t take up our time with video. You need to start muscle memory to get good at golf.
