FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No two situations are the same and pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on how complicated a particular matter is. Things that can complicate a case is the presence of criminal history, previous violations of immigration law, or other issues. It's important that you are honest with your prospective attorney to avoid surprises down the line.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Counting Legal Education is required for all practicing attorneys. I attend seminars regularly to stay on top of the latest changes in immigration and nationality law.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you're looking for an immigration attorney, or any lawyer, it is important to make the most of your consultation. Bring all the documents you think are relevant to your case when you meet a prospective lawyer. Ask questions! It's better that you ask everything on your mind rather than leave with doubts. I also recommend bringing a notepad and jotting down notes during your consultation.
