- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I'm sure every party planner's concern is the reliability, professionalism and quality of the service/product. All that while weighting the cost and they should. Yet the cost sometimes impairs the planners ability to remember the first 3 credentials, when the price is so low. The cliche saying "You get what, you pay for" is a good place to start. Although that doesn't work in some cases, it's usually true when you are strictly price shopping. The cheapest usually comes with a catch, like we can't make it to your event; as your being told 3 days before your event. Yes, It happens, I provided my services for planners in that exact circumstance. Another thing to worry about is appearance and professionalism. Do you want a make shift photo booth someone and their handy uncle built in there garage with plastic piping. Yes, again that happens and the result is a really "ugly and sloppy" presence at you event. I'm sure the attendant that comes with that, will be equal in appearance. 3 Steps to follow when hiring a photo booth service. 1. See what your actual photo booth looks like. Ask for pictures and make it clear that it's the booth you are expecting to see. No pictures of the actual photo booth, no go! 2. Speak with a knowledgeable professional at the company you are considering. Do they really know what they are doing? Are they really friendly? 3. Communicate with your needs to the photo booth service providers. Even the most professional companies can drop the ball in your eyes, if you don't communicate what you want. The steps to follow to avoid those unpleasant situations.
