Stefan Bernhard is a wonderful pianist and teacher. He has great insight and grasp of musical concepts within the context of works of different periods and styles. He has helped me solve technical challenges by demonstrating creative fingering and proper hand/weight distribution. He is meticulous about musical clarity, precision and nuance while conveying a practical approach to deal with complex passages. I highly recommend Mr. Bernhard to students and pianists at any level for his unique and effective teaching method.

As someone who takes piano studies seriously, Stefan has met my expectations. He is both a talented pianist and an outstanding teacher. He expects his students to listen and practice, and the results are a high level of performance. I recommend Stefan Bernhard for those who want to learn to play music, not just notes.
