The initial thought of having someone come into my space, go through my clutter and chaos to organize it all was a hard one to make. Dana came in with a huge conforting smile and said "This is not an issue, not embarrassing but full of potential. She stepped in and took charge! She emptied all the drawers, cabinets and cleared the countertop! Before I knew it we were simplifying my life, my space was becoming a daily work space that flowed with my everyday routine. Once we were done, and reviewed together just how the flow of my new decluttered space worked, I also had a smile and realized just how happy this new found space made me. That night, my nightly routine was prideful. I put everything in its place and felt good going to bed with a clean countertop. The next morning , my morning routine was smooth and exciting. I was all done and everything was easily back in it's place and STILL had clean countertops to come home to. Another great thing was I already had random empty vessels around my home to use for the drawers, habits and under sink storage. This is the first step, the first session and I couldn't be happier and now excited to move forward with the next space.....my closetDana was very professional! Her ability to use what we already have attitude was amazing. No need to purchase "organizing stuff" unless it is absolutely needed. I think the thoughts of that extra spending added to my hesitation to scheduling my initial session. Dana has been helping us for years, and really came through again during the chaos of May with our son's homework/craft station. If had exploded over the school year to the point where the drawers couldn't even open all the way. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Transparency around pricing is important to me. My standard organizing sessions are 4 hours for $297. This allows enough time to make meaningful progress and create systems that are both functional and sustainable. Additional time or follow-up sessions can be discussed based on your needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a brief intake phone to talk through your space, goals, and any immediate concerns. From there, I offer a complimentary consultation to assess the space and create a plan. Decluttering sessions and organizing sessions are scheduled separately, depending on your needs and priorities. Once systems are in place, optional maintenance sessions are available to help keep everything running smoothly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have hands-on experience organizing a variety of residential spaces and continue to expand my skills through professional organizing education and ongoing training. My approach combines practical organizing systems with a thoughtful, client-centered process focused on creating spaces that are functional, calming, and easy to use.
