Hello! I am here to help with your swim instruction needs :) I am 39 years old, and I have 25 years of teaching and coaching experience. I was trained in Red Cross instruction and I have taught children ages 15 months and up, as well as adults, in group and private lessons. I have coached club swim teams and Masters teams as well. I LOVE teaching and coaching. Swimming and being comfortable and safe around water are skills that everyone should have, and I love being able to use my experience and skills to facilitate that. I spent 17 years as a nanny, and at my most recent job, before I retired, I was a nanny to two children, and I have been their primary swim instructor since they were 3 and 2. I have taught them all four strokes ( freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly), and it they are now 9 and 5. I have loved watching them grow in their confidence in the water. I have been doing this a long time, and I have a passion for what I do. I am patient, kind, loving, and most of all, I want your child and you to succeed. I teach each client with an individual approach...I am not a cookie cutter swim instructor. What works for one person may not work for another, and I can work with that. I treat each client as an individual, and tailor my instruction to their specific needs. I am fully insured, CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified.
