Introduction: We do not proclaim to be the best in the business, we only strive for the best family fun interaction time we can with you and your family with all of our animals we bring. We have always been the family who will go out on a limb to help everyone else before ourselves and will always conitinue to do the same. I input that into my children to always do the best you can in everything you can in this world. We Love doing our pony parties and will continue to do the best we can for everyone we meet. So if you are looking for an honest,caring compasionate pony party company many will say that is us. Lets see, what I like most about my job that I have now? I would have to say that I LOVE the SMILES we bring to all the childrens and event the parents faces that we see when I unload the horses and ponies at their party place. Then all the children having such a wonderful time on the ponies and horses while we are at the party or activity. Allowing them to feed and brush each animal is also something some of these kids will never get to do again. We allow them to interact as much as possible with our animals that we bring with us. I used K & M Pony Parties for my son's 8th birthday. He and his friends really enjoyed it. We had 2 ponies, face painting, and a petting zoo. Karen and her crew were very professional but that did not take away from the kids enjoying their day. All animals were under control at all times. The animals were very friendly and weren't bothered with a bunch of baseball boys touching them and acting loud around them. I was impressed with the animals and how calm they were. They never were startled and we all know how boys can be. The handlers were very careful with the kids (and animals). I could tell safety was the companies #1 priority. And to me that meant a lot considering I was a little nervous having these animals around so many kids but everything went so smoothly. I will recommend K&M Parties to anyone.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is not really too complicated actually on our website. We break down everything by location and prices. And if anyone has any questions about anything we have posted you may always call me for all information. We offer monthly specials on our website too. We associate our business with Lakeland Moonwalk and several other businesses that are party incorporated. We work with the prices on all of our day cares and corporate and social and civic events. We are licensed and insured to do all our parties.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always attending different workshops that are available through out our state for any equine or livestock that I can get too. I want to be involved in the community affiars that goes on with our areas. You are never to old to learn more and every day is a learning experience for all of our family memebers here. If you are not learning you are not trying to excell to be a better person in life. I want my children adn myself to learn as much as we can while that great opportunity is there.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Both of my children have shown their horses in 4H and in rodeos. I decided that it was time for some of these horses to help pay their own way here on the farm. So we started doing pony parties. We was already very involved in our community and decided that we could bring more smiles to more childrens faces if we opened our own pony party business and got our license and insured. My son earns his money to rodeo by coming to each party and working as we call it to him. He pays his own entry fees to run his horse and ride bulls. He tells me to pay the fuel bill to get there and he has the rest. I want my kids to know nothing in life should be handed to you. That you must work hard to get what you want in life. His dream is to be in the proffesional rodeos one day and I believe he will do it too.
