- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have to continue my education every two years to stay certified. I research health and fitness on a daily basis to stay on the up with new fitness trends.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was overweight and had tried every diet technique you could think of. I finally realized the only way to get what you want is hard work and dedication. I started eating right and brought exercise into my routine. I went from a size 16 to a size 3 in a year and was in the best shape of my life. I became dedicated to my life style and decided to turn it into a career.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've had many clients who were in pain that never worked out and wanted to start. I've had to take it easy on a lot of my clients at first just for medical reasons. Proper technique and breathing have been the main jobs I've introduced to clients. Then explaining the difference between pain and gain. I've also worked with many overweight clients with big weight loss goals. I teach them importance of eating right along with exercise is the best way to succeed.
