- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each service is uniquely priced, according to customized inquiries. The lowest resume price - for early career professionals - is $33.00. This includes a phone conversation, emailing back and forth with the drafts, and then a final resume in multiple formats. The price goes up according to career lengths, additional material, such as marketing portfolios, and more. I suggest that anyone looking for a good resume service ONLY use people who have successfully placed people in great jobs; those of us that meet this qualification have proven track records with resumes and consulting. Those that have never been in recruiting know very little about what the readers of resumes REALLY want.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I shut up and listen. I'm not a mind reader so it is important to hear YOU. I assist in helping the customer clarify any grey areas so that the end product looks like what YOU want, not what I think you want. I offer suggestions if the customer's vision is riddled with uncertainty. I write down what I understand the product details demand, make sure that the price point is a win-win for both of us, and then get an email agreement on the details. I then complete the project as agreed upon.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor's in Psychology. I have been in the recruiting business since 2004, and have worked with international companies doing consulting and recruiting. Additionally I have sales and marketing experience with Fortune 500 companies, creating and managing multi-million dollar accounts. I have set up and run two small businesses as well as a global non-profit charity. Additionally, I am an experienced graphics designer in Adobe Illustrator and others.
