FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sessions begin at $1,300, and I've designed the experience so that every family walks away with something truly meaningful — not just images on a hard drive. I'll be honest with you: digital files are wonderful to have, but they have a way of getting tucked away and forgotten. What I really love helping families create is heirloom artwork — portraits that live on your walls, that your children grow up seeing, and that your grandchildren will one day hold in their hands. That's the kind of investment that doesn't just capture a moment; it becomes part of your family's legacy. For families who want to document more than one season, my Collective Membership is truly special. For $600, I'll photograph your family three times within 14 months — so we can follow your child through those fleeting early milestones together. You'll receive priority booking, a welcome box, 25 fine art cards, and meaningful savings on your digital files each session. It's my most loved offering, and I think once you experience the first session, you'll understand why. I'd love to chat and help you find the option that feels right for your family. You'll be guided every step of the way — from our very first conversation to the moment your portraits are hanging beautifully in your home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love making the experience feel as warm and stress-free as possible from the very first message. Once you reach out, we'll have a conversation so I can learn about your child and what you're hoping to create. From there, I'll send you a wardrobe styling guide to help you prepare — because what your child wears plays a beautiful role in achieving that timeless, heirloom look. On session day, you'll be guided every step of the way. I work at your child's pace — there's no rushing, no pressure, and no exact time limit. Some of the sweetest portraits happen when little ones are simply allowed to be themselves. Within two weeks, your images will be ready, and we'll meet again (virtually or in person) for your ordering and design consultation, where I'll help you choose and design the perfect heirloom artwork for your home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photography is something I invest in continuously — I believe that's what it takes to create portraits that are truly exceptional. My training includes classes with Danielle Hobbs for newborn photography, The Motherhood Anthology (ongoing), Jeanna Hayes for family photography, Kristie Loyd for children's portrait work, The Milky Way for family, maternity, and newborn photography, as well as education from Audrey Woulard, Damien Symonds, and Simon Stafford — just to name the most recognized. Learning is something I never stop doing, because the families who trust me with these portraits deserve my very best.
