I have a PhD in Physics, with more than 20 years of experience teaching, mentoring and tutoring people of all ages. I really enjoyed the tutor sessions I had. I never really used a tutor other than for my ACT, but when I was in a physics lab for UNLV, I knew that I desperately needed a tutor. Jennifer was great at helping me grasp the subject as well enjoy learning about it. I would definitely recommend her for anyone who is looking to get good grades as well as make learning fun. 10/10

I had this tutor for Physics II, and I must say, Ms. Granata is great. She's not only very friendly and personable, but also explains the concepts and problems very well. She doesn't just tell you the answers, but guides you through the problems step-by-step, encouraging you to think and come up with the answers. She makes sure you understand the concepts and how you solved each problem. She will help you with homework, pre-tests, general questions, or anything you might need help with in physics. If you're struggling in physics, take Ms. Granata. You won't regret it.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am offering a 10% discount on my hourly rate ($45/hr instead of my usual $50/hr).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customer, understand what they want to accomplish, what they are struggling with, what they are good at, how they like to learn, and what they enjoy doing. This helps me personalize my teaching process to the individual needs of my customer. I believe it has to be a good fit on both sides for tutoring to really be effective.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS, MS and PhD in physics, and all the math that goes with it. I worked in a scientific field for 20 years and used the tools regularly. I have also taken many courses in communication and what stops us as human beings, and therefore how we can overcome what stops us.
