FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, there is no BLUE BOOK for pricing a Stand-up comic or a ventriloquist. But because of the large amount of shows Comedy Asylum does we look into many factors which will vary the cost either up or down. These factors will include, day of week (week days cheaper than weekends) distance to gig, times dates, length of show. Many of these comedians are likely on one of our tours already, so routing is a big factor as well..
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First find out what type of event you are having (birthday party, night club, motivationally funny event etc.) Get time, date, and the length of show from customer, find out what kind of act you want and either myself or one of the office girls at Comedy Asylum will locate the best entertainer available! After discussing your options of different comedy acts and their costs, you will decide on who is best for your event. Promo pics, bio etc. will be forwarded to you via email by one of my office girls. A simple contract is sent out with all the details, so there are no surprises for either party, and a small deposit is made to secure the date and lock in a price mutually agreed upon by both. Sometimes, I can tie in your event to one of my regularly scheduled venues allowing you to take advantage of the entertainer I already have working for me. I'm very good at this and have been booking comics my entire adult life. My reputation is important to me and I will do everything in my power to make sure your entertainment is of the highest quality at a more than fair price. If you choose to call me, I won't let you down...and you'll feel confident that your decision to hire entertainment through Comedy Asylum was a smart educated choice. 2 3 9- 2 2 3- 7 6 8 7 Rob
