TLDR: Phenomenal service. I believe that one duty we have in life is to give credit where it is due. Thus far I am impressed and will be going with this company for likely whatever electrical needs we need from now on. Totally professional, fast service, accurate estimate and an all around sunny experience (John C came). He wasted no time and he got pretty much everything right. A little backstory. My wife and I just bought our home, just built. We have a 2 year old and wanted a big back yard and large enough home for friends and family to comfortably visit so we went big, for the almost dream house of a modest couple. Suffice it to say, we are financially drained. I'm a total geek and had been saving a bit and preparing ahead of time to 1. automate certain activities and 2. invest in as many money saving gadgets as I could to end up saving it over a length of time. I bought a bunch of vacancy sensors/motion/ humidity detectors, led lights and invested in the Nest Thermostat and Smoke detectors. I know all about computers but nothing about electrical wiring so I put a project up here on Thumbtack. Sure I could do it but in an attempt in doing so I could potentially kill myself or burn our new home down so I opted to find an electrician. I was wary of this. I'd never dealt with one directly but have heard so many horror stories of bad jobs, big overcharges and sneaky electricians so I was worried going in. Jack contacted me and was very polite so I ended up calling him. He put me on to John C who I told what I wanted and asked him how long a job like that may take and what it may cost. He told me and it was within my budget so I put the order in. He ended up coming because they were swamped, and I couldn't be happier. He did everything I wanted and more than I expected in very little time. Ended up coming in under budget. As I said, I'm very happy and will definitely seek service from this place again based on that experience.

Very helpful and prompt service. Electrician was very helpful trouble shooting an electrical problem and hanging lights for me---i'll definitely use them again if in need of an electrician!!

All Service Electric was great to work with. They gave me what I felt was a fair price. The electrician showed up when they said he would, he was very courteous and professional and did great work. He even made a point to ask for my vacuum cleaner so that he could clean up after himself! Thank you for a great experience!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend continuing education courses and I also attend a variety of seminars.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 15 I worked for a family friend at nights on weekends and just decided to pursue it. I worked for a few good companies before deciding to go out on my own. That was 21 years ago.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We receive on average 10 new calls a day for items such as power not in there home, items not working, new installation of hot tubs, pool heaters etc.
