Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Personal coaching and consultation on spiritual matters, personal growth, and family and relationships from a progressive christian perspective. (LGBTQIA+ Ally, Egalitarian) My focus is helping you come up with solutions that fit your personality, relationships, and style of communication. There are no cookie-cutter answers or magic pills but you can feel an impact and progress in one session. 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist (clinical social worker) with a shift to coaching and teaching you the skills you need for problem-solving success. My coaching strengths are the areas of communication, relationships, and personal growth. After years of doing psychotherapy, I concluded it's not always necessary, coaching helps you focus on what you want to accomplish right NOW. Coaching assists you in narrowing your focus so you can overcome hurdles and get over anything keeping you stuck! It is a way to get effective tools into your problem-solving toolbox!

Meagan D.

Courtenay has coached and counseled me through the big and small moments of my life. From navigating conflicts within a toxic work environment, single parenthood of a toddler, and making wise decisions within personal/romantic relationships. She has completely changed the way I parent, lead, and build relationships in the most positive way. Courtney listens and pays attention to your values and will make recommendations but is never pushy or judgmental. If there's anything in your life you're struggling with or feel stuck with send her message and you won't regret it.

I cannot explain in enough words, what she did for me. She has a way of helping you get to the core of where your issues stem from. She’s very skilled at taking you through the delicate process of inner healing from trauma, but still provides ways to maintain dignity & privacy as you sometimes have to look back at difficult or traumatic events in your life. I have never felt such a powerful transformation in my heart! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Right now, I am offering a discounted price but NOT discounted services. You will get the full benefit of my 20+ years of experience.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    1. We are a team working together for YOU! 2. We start where you need to start. Don't worry if you don't know exactly what that is - I'm trained to ask the questions to figure it out. 3. You are the expert on you and your life. 4. We use personal assessment and scaling to measure progress at each session. Your first session is usually 1.5 hours. subsequent sessions are 1 hour.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started doing crisis counseling at 19 years old. My education continued with my Master's degree in clinical social work (psychotherapy). Consequently, I have training in trauma, solution-focused, and anger management. NOTE: Most recently, I prefer coaching in the areas of communication, relationships, and personal growth. After years of doing psychotherapy, I concluded it's not always necessary, coaching helps you focus on what you want to accomplish right NOW. Coaching assists you in narrowing your focus so you can overcome hurtles and get over anything keeping you stuck!
