I am an experienced tutor who has read a variety of college papers. I have a good sense for the revision process, and how I can help students improve their learning and writing. I enjoy helping a student/client become proficient with their work. I love when students--get it---as the idea or the process suddenly becomes clear to them. It tells me that I am doing my job correctly. There is a great satisfaction knowing that I helped a student become a stronger learner through my explanations and examples. It feeds my passion as an educator.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I currently I do not have standard pricing. I will work with a customer to determine a price that is fair for the services that are rendered.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask questions to find out the needs of the client or student. It is important to find out the specific needs of the client/student, so I can create a clear path to help the student. For ongoing lessons, I will develop a lesson plan to help the student to improve the areas of writing or reading that can be improved.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Rhetoric from U.C. Berkeley. I also attended film school for screenwriting, but I did not complete the program. I have been selected for a few writing residencies. I was a writing fellow for the Jack Kerouac House in Orlando, Fl.
