FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We keep AC pricing simple and transparent. Every job starts with a clear estimate, and we confirm the price with you before any work begins, so you never get surprised by a bill at the end. Repair pricing depends on the part that failed and the age and type of your system, which is why we diagnose first and quote second. For a new air conditioner or heat pump installation, we show you a few equipment options at different price points and explain any manufacturer rebates or financing that could lower your total cost. We do offer discounts, so ask us what you qualify for. We accept credit card, check, and Zelle.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a quick conversation. We ask about your system's age, what it is doing (or not doing), how long the problem has been going on, and which rooms are uncomfortable, so we arrive prepared with the right parts and tools. Next we schedule a visit that fits your day and keep you posted on arrival time. On site, our technician runs a full diagnostic on the air handler, condenser, refrigerant charge, electrical components, and airflow, then explains what he found in plain English along with your options and pricing. Nothing gets repaired or replaced until you approve it. After the work is done we test the system, clean up, review the maintenance your system needs going forward, and follow up to make sure your home is comfortable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our technicians are trained HVAC professionals with hands-on experience across residential and light commercial systems: central air conditioning installation and replacement, AC repair and maintenance, heating systems and heat pumps, ductwork and vents, thermostats, window and wall units, and commercial kitchen exhaust hoods. Training does not stop at hire. Our team keeps up with ongoing manufacturer and industry training on new high-efficiency equipment, current refrigerants, and diagnostic tools, so we can service a 20-year-old unit just as confidently as a brand-new variable-speed system. Nolan Air is veteran owned and operated, and we hold our crew to that same standard of discipline and accountability. We have also completed Thumbtack's background check, so you know who is coming to your home.
