- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Roughly. I usually charge a set fee unless I have a compelling reason to do otherwise. That keeps things fair and to be honest also makes my accounting easier!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet a new client I sit with them, assess their current status, and get their feedback on their goals and what they want to accomplish. I then develop a lesson plan that incorporates three elements - fills the gaps that I think they have (what they need to know), helps them to meet their goals (what they want to know), and ensures a good time while doing the first two!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BS degree with a music minor. I also hold the PMP certification which comes in handy when planning lessons.
