Why did I wait so long to learn to dance?
The instructors, staff, and atmosphere at Dance Center International make learning fun. The lessons are taught by friendly, courteous, and professional instructors.
For individuals like me with two left feet and no rhythm, the instructors' patience and encouragement is a big plus.
I look forward to each and every lesson.

My boyfriend purchased a group of 7 dancelessons for us as a gift. We had never danced before and were a bit nervous initially, but our instructor Amelia made us feel very comfortable! We wanted to be able to feel comfortable dancing socially and have fun doing it. We ended up purchasing two years worth of lessons (we go weekly) because we enjoy it so much. It’s a lot of fun to learn together and we’ve turned it into a built in date night :) The amount of patience and knowledge Amelia has demonstrated is so impressive. If either one of us has a question about any aspect of our dancing (why something feels awkward, or hip motion, or musical choices for songs or ask “why xyz”) she always has an ‘ah-hah!’ response to clear things up for us. She has found methods that work for us and she teaches to our learning styles.
We are now learning five dances simultaneously, and while we are still at the beginning levels we have seen what she can do with more people who have been dancing for longer- but we’re on our way! We’ve also seen Amelia dance professionally and she is incredibly talented!! It’s clear why teaching comes naturally to her. I would strongly recommend Amelia as a dance instructor.

Amelia was such an enthusiastic dance instructor. She really helped calm our nervousness of learning to dance, while being responsive to any questions we had and very friendly. She focuses on your goals on how you would like to improve your dancing and demonstrates the learning material very well. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience for my husband and I.
I would recommend anyone who wants a remarkable dance journey, to check out this dance center!

For almost three years, I had the distinct pleasure of learning ballroom dance under the tutelage of Miss Amelia Delahaye.
When I took my first lesson with Amelia, I was completely inexperienced as a dancer.
In addition to her total professionalism and commitment, Amelia demonstrated tremendous patience with the many left feet I then possessed.
We worked on many different dance styles as well as technique and practice exercises.
I made so much progress in our time together, and I would not hesitate to recommend Amelia as a dance instructor.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a Military appreciation discount,
Teacher appreciation discount.
Family discount (if more then 2 family members are taking lessons) at the same time.
“ ... refer us to your friends...” program.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer introductory package.
The package includes 3 private lessons one-on-one with the Teacher.
During 3 lessons ,
the student will decide , what dancers he/she would like to focus on,
how many hours a day/week the student would like to take,
what goals need to be accomplished.
Based on that,
we will help to build an individual program for the student.
