Absolutely loved training with better obedience k9. We did private lessons with our out of hand pitbull mix, and we made huge progress. Our dog is finally under control and responsive to commands for the first time in his life. We will also be boarding him in the future with Rayna because she also offers boarding for her clients! How cool is that!

I finally understand what the dogtrainers mean when they say “your dogs newly learned skills are perishable unless you practice”.
You honestly have to keep up with training. That is really what it comes down to. Rayna easily changed our dog from unruly and rude, to a very compliant and obedient dog. Bella now walks on the leash, she doesn’t jump on people, we have off leash Training as well, so we can take her to new places and have full control. We also have much more ability to manage her in the house and prevent her from counter surfing when we aren’t watching her, prevent her from jumping on people when they come in the door, and keep her out of the way when people are eating/trying to watch TV/ Playing with the kids.
I am very grateful that she explained just how important it is to continue doing mini training sessions and progressing instead of just getting our dog back and expecting her to maintain perfect obedience without any effort on our part. Our neighbors did a board and train with a different trainer, their dog came back very well behaved. Not even a few weeks after their dog was returned, he went right back to being out of control. It was obvious that they weren’t utilizing any of the training their dog had received. Such a waste of time and money for the trainer and the owners.
We have been progressing with Bella not only at home, but everywhere we go with her. It’s been so enjoyable having her home and getting to go on adventures with her for the first time! I highly recommend Rayna for training, but even more so I highly recommend that you follow her directions when your dog is Done with their program. She knows what she’s doing.

We cannot recommend Rayna enough. We are beyond impressed with her training skills and although she is a balanced trainer… she really does use a lot of positive reinforcement. We like to spoil our dogs but we know that they need structure and boundaries too, so with Raynas help, we achieved that.

I had my dog go through the board and train program and I’m really happy with the results. Rayna is always giving updates and she really wants the best for the dogs. She is very observant of their behaviors and any time she had a concern about a certain behavior, she let us know and told us what she was working on to fix it. I highly recommend her.

We did the board and train program with Rayna and she did such a good job with our pitbull puppy. We needed help with kennel training because our puppy was crying constantly and we couldn’t sleep. We also struggled with getting our puppy to walk in a leash since we have a yard and didn’t train him on the leash much. She covered everything we wanted for him and even went the extra mile to ensure he had basic commands and recall.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly we will discuss what issues and goals your have for your dog, then we can either set up a phone consult or set up a pick up/drop off date and evaluation prior to your pup staying here. I am available via text, call, email, or social media.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from animal behavior college in 2014, worked as a Vet Tech for 8 years while training on the side for clients and my personal dogs. I am a sport dog handler and trial my own dog in PSA. I am now a full time trainer with my own business after working under different trainers for the past 3 years. I attend about 3 working seminars a year to stay up to date with training skills and tools.
