Garvin was exceptional. Hung up two of my TVs and supplied one of the mounts when he saw my other one, during my families move, lost some parts. Hung my dining room light, installed my shower curtain rod which also needed to be mounted, and installed my RING bell and set it up, installing the ring to go off inside the home. Was professional, punctual, respectful knowledgeable and worth the money. He also traveled a distance without complaint. Already booking him for next jobs. He's our family handyman!!! Thank you Garvin!

Did a great job patching a large hole in my laundry room wall. Highly recommend.
My highlights about working with Garvin:
He is very professional, provides all quotes in writing, is very flexible & always worked around my schedule which had him here after dark at times. He takes his time, has pride in his work, cleans up when the job is done & refused payment until all projects were completed & he knew I was satisfied.

Working with Garvin at DesignSTX was one of the BEST home repair experiences I’ve had! I’ve put off non-urgent repairs for YEARS due to bad handymen in the past, but when the seams in my garage ceiling began separating to the point that I could see into the attic, I had no choice but to cross my fingers & find help!
And not only did he fix the ceiling, he gave me reasonable quotes & repaired many other items I had put off from replacing broken tiles in my kitchen, replacing broken light fixtures in my garage, securing loose plumbing behind my shower wall & replacing the drywall, installing motion lights on my shed & I still have quotes for more work I need done in phase 2.
I’m including a couple pics - kitchen tile & garage ceiling/lights (fyi I opted NOT to have him replace the popcorn on ceiling as he did a very clean job so it was fine without)
Garvin arrived on a white horse to save the day, and did not disappoint. In fact he did extra, and was open to a couple of short add ons during the job. To start, he helped us pick out materials needed for the job, which can often be half of the battle. The project was a mashup of things that we simply couldn’t figure out how to do as non-handy people or didn’t have time for. He helped finish our bathroom shiplap in a tricky spot & wired the electrical in there as well. He did baseboards and finished tiling our fireplace. We had a door handle that was broken. Never asked him to fix it, he just did.
On a personal level, truly an endearing and professional man. I look forward to working with him again at my next home. I really think he can do anything!!
