FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe in transparent, value-driven pricing that reflects the high level of professionalism, training, and preparedness we bring to every assignment. Here’s what our clients should know: Customized to Your Needs: Every security detail is unique. Our pricing is tailored based on service type, risk level, duration, location, personnel required, and equipment needs. No Hidden Fees: All quotes are clear and itemized. We disclose all costs upfront, including administrative fees, travel, and specialty gear if required. Deposit Policy: A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure service dates. The balance is due before or on the day services begin, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the start of service may incur up to a 50% cancellation fee to cover planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Uneven Pricing: You may notice our totals aren't rounded or "even"—this is intentional and reflects the true cost of time, training, and tactical readiness we bring to each client engagement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Target Set, we follow a professional, efficient, and secure process to ensure every client receives the highest level of service from day one. 1. Initial Consultation We start with a no-obligation phone call or in-person meeting to discuss your needs. Whether it's executive protection, site security, surveillance, or training, we’ll assess your objectives, location, risk factors, and timeline. 2. Needs Assessment & Proposal After understanding your goals, we conduct a detailed security assessment (if required) and provide a customized proposal. This includes a scope of services, staffing plan, estimated hours, equipment (if applicable), and a detailed quote with pricing. 3. Agreement & Deposit Once the scope is approved, we issue a service agreement outlining terms, responsibilities, and legal protections for both parties. A 40% deposit is required to secure services, with the remaining balance due as agreed. 4. Scheduling & Preparation We coordinate logistics, assign qualified personnel, and ensure all agents are briefed, trained, and equipped according to your unique needs. You’ll receive a confirmation schedule and designated point of contact. 5. Service Delivery Our licensed and trained professionals arrive on time, in proper uniform or attire based on the mission (overt or covert), and execute the plan with professionalism, discretion, and precision. 6. Post-Service Reporting Upon completion, we provide a detailed report or debrief as applicable—whether it’s a security summary, incident documentation, or training evaluation. 7. Ongoing Support We maintain open communication for any follow-up needs, ongoing contracts, requalification's, or future services. Long-term clients benefit from priority scheduling and preferred pricing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve built my professional expertise through over a decade of high-level security training and operational experience, beginning with my graduation from the Hillsborough Police Academy in Florida. My foundational law enforcement training covered legal procedures, defensive tactics, crisis management, and firearms proficiency—skills that have remained central to my work in both protective services and investigations. During my tenure as a Nuclear Security Officer III, I completed extensive Department of Energy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission-compliant training in physical protection systems, threat response, anti-terrorism protocols, and access control. That experience instilled a deep understanding of critical infrastructure security and emergency preparedness at the highest operational standards. In addition to field experience, I’m a certified NRA Law Enforcement and Private Security Firearms Instructor, licensed to train personnel in both handgun and rifle qualifications. I also hold instructor credentials from the State of Florida to teach the Class “D” and Class “G” certification courses required for unarmed and armed security officers. My courses incorporate live-fire qualifications, scenario-based judgment training, and tactical drills to ensure real-world readiness. Further specialized training includes precision shooting, sniper operations, executive protection tactics, force-on-force decision-making, and penetration testing—all of which support my consulting work in vulnerability assessments and high-risk security details. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I’m able to work effectively across diverse environments and client needs, whether in private investigations, protective services, or training capacities.
