About this pro

How does your service stand out?

We have built a reputation over the past seventeen years of advocating for our clients, seeking the best possible results and demonstrating understanding and compassion for what they are going through. We treat our clients as we would want to be treated. We make ourselves available seven days a week. We communicate clearly and make sure to take exceptional care of each client. We don't make promises that are unethical or improper, but instead we educate and inform our client about what they can expect, not only from us but from the process they're going through.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I love helping our clients! I know that they are under a great deal of stress and I like listening to their needs and then meeting or exceeding them as the opportunity presents itself. They can tell that I care about them and that I will do all I can to make life as easy as possible.

Amir handled a case for our family. In the scheme of life it was probably small, but Amir TRULY went above and beyond. Initially the State was not willing to negotiate and AMIR was 100% a bull dog. He always communicated quickly about any updates. In fact when we initially reached out he answered when on vacation. I highly recommend Amir. The man is in it to win it. The favorable outcome 100% impacted our son's future employment and Amir was relentless. We are very pleased and truly grateful for his skill set. He was MORE than fair with our family.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We work with new clients in a variety of ways, depending on what's best for the client. While we prefer to have a face-to-face meeting in the beginning of the case, we recognize that time and convenience may mean that we handle our initial conference over the phone. We make ourselves available for telephonic conferences seven days a week and do all we can to make hiring our firm simple and convenient. We can even handle all the paperwork electronically if that's better for the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the University of Miami School of Law, where I was a member of the Honor Council, adjudicating allegations of ethics violations among the law students. I also had the opportunity to argue a criminal appeal case in the 3rd District Court of Appeal as a Certified Legal Intern for the Attorney General's Office. From there, I worked for the Orange / Osceola State Attorney's Office as a prosecutor from 1998 through 2001. While at the State, I prosecuted DUI's, misdemeanor offenses, juvenile offenses and felony offenses. I received numerous commendations and promotions while there, based on my exceptional work quality. In May, 2001, I co-founded my law firm and since that time, I have represented countless clients in criminal cases throughout Florida. I have personally handled cases in ten-plus counties as well as in Federal Court here in the Middle District of Florida. I have successfully defended clients at the Pre Trial and Trial level in a variety of criminal matters.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Our fees are calculated based on the time, effort and experience that we bring to each case. We follow the industry standard and charge our clients a flat-fee. The fees vary from case to case based on what we anticipate we will do for the client and as such, there's no "one-price-fits-all" quote for a case. We want to be fair in our pricing and base our fees on what we think it will take to get our client's case resolved. We offer a free, confidential consultation for this very reason - so we can best assess what we'll need to do for our client and what that will take.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a former DUI, juvenile and felony prosecutor, I do what I know well. I've seen the cases from the prosecutor's side and I know what it takes to make the State's case. I use that knowledge and experience to help my clients in all avenues of their defense. By my experience alone doesn't tell the whole story. I truly enjoy helping people. Most of my clients have never been in trouble before. They are anxious about what's going to happen and often frustrated as well. I like helping them to work through the challenges and I work very hard to help my clients to get the results that they want, need and deserve.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research! Not all lawyers are the same. We have different experiences, abilities and approaches. Once you've done your research, contact a few lawyers and assess how they address you and your questions. Then pick the best one for your situation.
