My general service area is no more than 5 miles from Granada/Nova in Ormond Beach, however, exceptions can be made for additional fees. Cost depends on distance and number of pets.
I have an extreme love for animals and specialize in caring for pets. I am especially qualified in understanding and caring for dogs. I have been involved in rescue work for many years and have learned a great deal through the past couple of decades. Animals are to be respected and cared for with 100% effort, capability, and confidence. Pets are family members and I insist on treating them as such.
I especially enjoy assuring your pet is comfortable and at ease while their family is away, and giving the pet parents peace of mind knowing that this is truly the case. I know and understand the importance of this and take pride in offering great comfort. I'm very aware that pets are dependent upon their care givers and consider that opportunity a great one.

We found Tammy on this website that we’ve never used before we took a chance and we can not be any happier with our decision. It was a last minute opportunity and Tammy was very quick and responsive. She and her husband were very very accommodating and they were awesome with our dogs even bought them a toy and some biscuits to go along with their stay. They interacted with both of our dogs one high energy and one an older calmer set of rescue dogs. Tammy has a lot of experience with previous rescue puppies she takes care of them like they’re her own if not better would definitely recommend her to anyone including friends and family we will definitely be using her again we feel like we’ve made not only a friend but an excellent dog friend as well. Gino and Zuma say thank you and they can hardly wait till the next time you come to stay and play

Such a great experience for me and my dogs.
After 2 minutes of meeting Tammy you can tell she is an animal lover! My dogs were well loved! Tammy sent pictures of my dogs every day and always put the dogs first. Tammy also responded quickly which was fortunate for me because I waited until the last minute. What a gem! I am so grateful to have found Animals Are Awesome.

Tammy is fantastic! My dog tends to be a bit shy around anyone but my wife and I, but he adores Tammy and is always so happy to see her. Tammy understood him immediately and is very patient and kind. We would, without a doubt, hire her again in the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Peoples lives and pet needs are unique. My prices are a guideline and can easily be customized for you and your pet. I’d be happy to discuss your requirements and formulate a plan that works well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I generally like to first meet to discuss options and ask/answer questions. After our initial meet and greet, I like to go for a short walk with pet and pet parent(s) in a favorite park or neighborhood. I like to keep the routine as “regular” as possible to assure comfort and contentment for everyone.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working with rescue groups many years ago. This consisted of many aspects of canine well being, a big part of which was fostering. While helping dogs in my care become healthy and ready for new homes, these dogs lived with me and became part of my own family. When the time came to go to their forever home, they never really left my family for good. My door was always open and my foster “kids” were always welcome. I was able to take care of a lot of these doggies when their parents needed sitters or boarding. I remained a second home to many. I’ve continued to take care of animals when their own families can’t. I love doing this and do my very best at it.
