Introduction: I do homework tutoring in Math (K-8), English- Reading and Writing (K-12), and History.
I also tutor in SAT, ACT, and FCAT preparation in the Math and Verbal sections.
I work with students of all ages.
In 2007 I was awarded "Teacher of the Year" at Sylvan Learning Center of Sarasota.
I am a University of Florida graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master of Education in English, and a Master of Arts in Communications.
I will come to your home for all tutoring sessions, and I charge $30.00 per hour.

I have known Elizabeth for 10 years. She has been a tutor/teacher throughout that time. She is an intelligent, conscientious and kind person. She loves teaching and is very reliable and dependable. She is very thorough in her preparation of materials and lessons. She is innovative in her approach and works with the student in a way that benefits them the most. She gets along and communicates well with both the students and their parents (and school teachers at times). She takes her work very seriously, but also has fun with the students so that they enjoy learning and feel good about the progress they are making. I know her students love her. I highly recommend Elizabeth as a top rate tutor.
