- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always learning and taking classes to keep me current in all styles of makeup artistry. There are always new things to learn.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am an artist, youth counselor, community volunteer, and retired dance teacher. I actually got into makeup when I retired from teaching and realized, with my background in counseling, that I had an ability to see beyond my clients face to their personality within. I was able to combine my intuitive counseling ability, art skills and knowledge of color to create beauty and unique makeup artistry.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I create a custom look for a special event, wedding, photo shoot or runway show that exhibits their unique style and personality.
