I’ve been playing saxophone for more than 30 years and have four years of professional teaching experience. I teach alto, tenor and baritone saxophone to students of all ages, from beginners through intermediate players. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals—whether that means learning the fundamentals, improving tone and technique, preparing for school band, or simply becoming a more confident player. I’m also passionate about helping adults return to the saxophone after a long break and rediscover how much fun playing music can be. Although we’ll build a strong musical foundation, lessons won’t be limited to traditional exercises and method books. We’ll also play along with popular songs that match your interests, allowing you to apply what you’re learning while making real music you enjoy. I’m patient, encouraging and easy to work with. My goal is to make lessons engaging and practical while helping every student progress at a comfortable pace—and genuinely enjoy practicing and playing. Don’t have a saxophone yet? I have an extra alto saxophone that students may use during their lessons.
