- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently conducted onsite CPR AED group training for an AED Program Management client of ours. Earlier this week, one of their customers went into cardiac arrest. Staff immediately acted, performing CPR and quickly placing the AED on the victim. The AED assessed the victim's heart rhythm and a shock was advised and delivered. The victim's heartbeat returned and Emergency Services arrived and took over. Our client was extremely pleased their staff had been recently trained in CPR AED and felt that our training truly helped them act quickly and confidently during this event.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Many websites provide online certification, but many do not meet employer requirements for hands-on training or national recognition. As an AHA Authorized Training Center, not only do we conduct AHA CPR AED classroom courses, we provide the skills session component required for AHA online course completion. Students who complete the AHA online course plus hands-on skills evaluation receive the same AHA certification card as our classroom students. AHA cards are nationally recognized and commonly accepted by employers. Always check first with your employer before purchasing a course to make sure it meets job requirements.
