FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Peak Appliance Solutions, we believe in transparent and fair pricing to build trust with our customers. Our services start with a flat diagnostic fee of $65, which is waived if you proceed with the repair. Repair costs typically range from $150 to $450, depending on the appliance type, parts needed, and complexity of the issue -we’ll always provide a detailed quote upfront after assessment. There are no hidden fees, but additional charges may apply for after-hours service ($50 extra) or rush parts ordering. All prices include a 90-day warranty on parts and labor for peace of mind.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make the process straightforward and customer-focused to ensure a smooth experience from start to finish. It begins with an initial consultation via phone, email, or our Thumbtack messaging -we’ll discuss your appliance issue, schedule a convenient on-site visit, and gather any necessary details. During the visit, I perform a thorough diagnostic to identify the problem and provide a no-obligation quote with options. Once approved, we order parts if needed (usually within 1-2 days) and complete the repair efficiently, often on the same day for simple fixes. After the work, we test everything, clean up the area, and follow up in a week to confirm satisfaction. We’re available for any questions throughout!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With over 3 years in the appliance repair industry, I’ve built a strong foundation through hands-on experience and formal training. I hold certifications from the Professional Service Association (PSA) as a Certified Appliance Professional (CAP) and from the United Servicers Association (USA) in advanced diagnostics and repair. Additionally, I’m EPA-certified for handling refrigerants in appliances like fridges and AC units, ensuring compliance with environmental standards. I completed vocational training in electrical and mechanical systems at Pinellas Technical College in Florida, and I stay current with annual workshops from manufacturers like Whirlpool, GE, and Samsung. This expertise allows me to handle everything from vintage models to smart appliances safely and effectively.
